WASHINGTON, DC – Better Solutions for Healthcare today announced a digital ad campaign that promotes the joint effort by over 20 organizations from both sides of the ideological spectrum to encourage the Senate Finance Committee to pass the SITE Act, which would ban hospital dishonest billing practices and enact site-neutral reform. Healthcare costs increased by the largest annual percentage since 2010, forcing Americans to make difficult choices with their family budgets. The SITE Act would break the status quo and begin to lower costs for patients.
“There’s a reason over 20 organizations from across the ideological spectrum joined together in support of the SITE Act: it’s a unique opportunity for Congress to finally lower healthcare costs for patients by banning dishonest billing and enacting site-neutral reform,” said Better Solutions Executive Director Connie Partoyan. “Rarely is there this much unity in Washington, D.C., and the Senate Finance Committee can kickstart a major win for the American people and Congress by passing the SITE Act.”
The ad campaign, first reported by Axios, will target an influential audience inside the Beltway on multiple social media platforms and display ads.
The ad campaign will bolster Better Solutions’ traditional Capitol Hill lobbying operation focused on making healthcare more affordable for patients. Better Solutions also launched a new interactive website under its “Hospital Watch” initiative for our conversations with the lawmakers and staff on Capitol Hill.
