Better Solutions for Healthcare is a coalition focused on educating consumers, employers, and lawmakers on the rising cost of healthcare and providing ideas on how we can work together to find better solutions that lower healthcare costs for all Americans.

Healthcare costs are growing at an unsustainable rate as a result of a number of factors, including skyrocketing prescription drug prices and medical services costs, hospital consolidation, patients unnecessarily receiving care at higher cost locations, as well as waste, fraud, and abuse.

We’re here to set the record straight on the drivers of growing healthcare costs in our country. Our focus is to:

• Explain the reasons for, and examples of, rising healthcare costs
• Educate and inform consumers, employers, and lawmakers on how rising healthcare costs impact them directly
• Provide another perspective on how we can address rising healthcare costs

Better Solutions for Healthcare came together out of stakeholders’ shared reaction to the price burden consumers and employers are increasingly being asked to shoulder in order to meet their healthcare needs. Our vision is to encourage a substantive dialogue surrounding healthcare costs with the collective goal of ensuring consumers and employers are able to extract real value from our healthcare system.
